EcoZenze Activ is pH neutral and can be left in the beer lines overnight, it’ll carry on working to provide a deep soak clean, and the waste is biodegradable.

Fast-forward through turning veggie as a teenager and holding up placards about saving the planet, Amanda saw that to have significant impact, she’d need to do more. She encouraged husband Eugene to promote the LineClenze Electronic Yeast Growth Inhibitor designed to enhance the effect of a good beer line clean and extend the time required between cleans which would reduce water consumption and waste-water, reduce the amount of caustic soda/high-alkaline waste going down the drain and as a fantastic side-affect it would save the landlord money too.

Always aiming to advance the environmental aspects of the business, the team asked the question “can we make a beer line cleaner that is not only better environmentally but better to use, to complement the electronic yeast growth inhibitor?” Initially the answer was “maybe” which we saw as half-way to a yes.

After several iterations and a lot of help from willing landlords with trials, we cracked it and System28 was born.

Why our environmental symbol is Koi

Our powders’ neutral range pH formulation is safe for animal life including aquatic & marine life which we like to illustrate with the story about the landlord who threw EcoZenze Activ powder into his fishpond, instead of their food.

He expected the worst in the morning but was amazed to see his prized koi happily swimming around with no harm done, just a little hungry.
