This Returns & Refunds Policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions and complies with the:
- Consumer Rights Act 2015
- Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013
1. Your Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
If you purchase goods online, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.
Cancellation Period
The cancellation period expires:
- 14 days after the day you (or someone you nominate) receives the goods.

2. Returning Goods After Cancellation
If you cancel your order:
- You must return the goods within 14 days of informing us.
- Goods must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.
- You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
We recommend using a tracked service as we are not responsible for items lost in transit when being returned.
3. Refunds
Once we receive the returned goods (or proof of return), we will issue a refund within 14 days.
Refunds will include:
- The cost of the goods
- The basic standard delivery charge (if applicable)
We may make a deduction from the refund for any loss in value resulting from unnecessary handling.
Refunds will be made using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
4. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to goods that are:
- As described
- Of satisfactory quality
- Fit for purpose
If your goods are faulty, damaged, or incorrect:
- Contact us within 30 days of delivery at hello@drinksready.co.uk
- Provide your order number and photographic evidence where possible.
If a fault is confirmed, you are entitled to:
- A repair, replacement, or
- A full refund.
We will cover reasonable return postage costs for faulty or incorrect items.
5. Alcohol & Perishable Goods
Due to hygiene, safety, and licensing regulations:
- We cannot accept returns of opened alcohol.
- We cannot accept returns of sealed alcohol unless it is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
If alcohol is returned due to failed age verification or refusal at delivery:
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
- We may deduct return courier charges from your refund.
This does not affect your statutory rights if the goods are faulty or not as described.
6. Dropshipped Items
Some items are fulfilled by third-party suppliers.
If you wish to return a dropshipped item:
- You must contact us first before returning the item.
- We will provide the correct return address and instructions.
- Items must not be returned directly to the manufacturer unless instructed.
Return timeframes and inspection processes may vary slightly depending on the supplier.
Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
7. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:
- Opened alcohol products
- Personalised or custom-made items
- Perishable goods
- Sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed

- Check your bank account again.
- Contact your card provider (processing times may vary).
